Customizing recipes for better heart healthiness
If you’ve high cholesterol, maybe even Familial Hypercholesterolemia (FM), then you know how hard it is to find fun foods that work within our diets. I was born with FM. Due to my diet restrictions, I’ve learned through the years how to adjust and customize recipes to make them more more suitable to my condition.
These recipes replace ingredients that are not ideal for high cholesterol diets with ingredients that may even assist with the prevention of cholesterol risks. Most recipes are suitable for keto, paleo, and other low carb, low sugar diets.
My goals are simple:
– reduced LDLs
– increase HDLs
– increase fiber intake
– manage sugar intake
– optimize for low carbs
Note: if you have nut allergies, 95% of my recipes will be of little value. I also don’t focus on being gluten-free.
